The Link Pathway runs on the seaward side of the Queen Charlotte Drive, and offers views out over the Shakespeare Bay log-yard, Kaipupu Point Wildlife Sanctuary, Picton Harbour, and Picton itself. Part of this section utilises the old stock route that was used to lead stock to the old Picton Freezing Works, once situated near where the log yard is today.

The last 500 metres is on the footpath beside Dublin Street.
